Motion hearing in Madison cockfighting case continued

A motion hearing was held in Dane County Circuit Court on January twenty, 2010 in the issue of Jorge Iglesias. Iglesias is charged with several counts of felony instigation of animal fights for allegedly working a cockfighting operation out of his Madison, WI property.

The motion hearing on January 20 was held in order to discuss the defendant’s movement to dismiss for selective and discriminatory prosecution. The judge has ordered the subject continued, and will be heard February 16, 2010 at one:00 pm.
